From download to charging on cheap power
Four steps, about ten minutes, and no installer. You need your charger nearby and the app open — that is all.
It charges at 03:00, so you don't have to think about it
Lyvra reads the day-ahead price the moment it is published, finds the cheapest block long enough to reach your target, and tells your charger when to start. You plug in when you get home. It decides the rest.
- Set a departure time and a target percentage
- Works with any dynamic contract
- Capacity tariff aware — it will not spike your monthly peak
What would Lyvra save at your house?
Three questions, and a number worked out from today’s real prices. We show the arithmetic rather than asking you to trust it.
About 1,989 kWh charged at home, moved into the cheapest 4 hours. On today’s curve that is worth €0.096 per kWh.
Solar will save you more on top of this. We have left it out rather than guess — it depends entirely on your feed-in terms.
Get the appHow we work this out
The saving is the gap between the day’s average price and its cheapest block, applied to the electricity you charge at home. Market prices exclude tax and levies, and those are charged flat per kWh — so they cancel out when you subtract one hour from another. The gap you see is the gap you get.
- A car using 18 kWh per 100 km.
- 85% of your charging done at home rather than in public.
- A charge that can be moved into the cheapest 4 hours of the day — roughly a full charge at 11 kW.
- A dynamic contract captures the whole curve; a day/night meter has two blocks so it catches part of it; a fixed tariff has no cheap hours to move into.
Not included: solar self-consumption, battery trading, and avoiding the capacity tariff peak. All three add to the figure, and none of them can be estimated from prices alone.

Upgrade when you add a second one. No trial countdown, no card up front.
One managed device, smart charging on dynamic prices and solar, the live dashboard and your P1 meter.
Free for your first six months. After that €3,99 a month for unlimited devices, load balancing across them, battery arbitrage, multi-location and unlimited history.
Lyvra+ is free for your first six months. Free stays free either way — one device, no card, no countdown.
Plug in tonight. Wake up charged for less.
Free for one device. Setup takes about 10 minutes.
No P1 reader yet?
The Lyvra dongle clips onto your meter’s P1 port and powers itself from it. Lyvra also works with a HomeWizard or an Easee Equalizer — the dongle is the option, not the requirement.

The things people ask us most. Support answers within a day.
What is Lyvra?
Lyvra is a smart energy management platform that connects your EV charger, solar panels, home battery, and smart meter into one system. It optimizes when and how your devices use energy — saving you money and maximizing your self-consumption of solar power.
Which EV chargers are supported?
Easee chargers are fully tested and supported. We also have integrations built for go-e, NexBlue, Wallbox, and Zaptec. Additionally, any charger that supports OCPP 1.6 or 2.0.1 can be connected to Lyvra. Check our Supported Devices page for the full list.
What is solar charging?
Solar charging automatically adjusts your EV charging speed based on how much solar energy your panels are producing. When the sun is shining, your car charges faster using free solar power. When production drops, charging slows down or pauses to avoid drawing expensive grid power.
How does Lyvra know my solar production?
Lyvra gets your solar data from two sources: your smart meter (which shows real-time net consumption/production) and solar forecast APIs that predict your production based on your panel setup and weather data. This combination allows Lyvra to both react to current production and plan ahead.
How does Lyvra calculate my energy costs?
Lyvra combines your smart meter readings with your electricity prices (either dynamic spot prices or your fixed rate) to calculate exactly how much each charging session and your total energy consumption costs. You can view daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly cost breakdowns in the app.
Do I need the Lyvra Smart Meter Dongle?
Not necessarily. The dongle gives you real-time energy readings from your P1 smart meter, which enables features like solar charging and dynamic load balancing. However, if your EV charger has a built-in energy meter (like the Easee Equalizer), Lyvra can use that data instead.
